Pokémon UNITE
Show off your dark side with Darkrai in Pokémon UNITE. This Dark-type Mythical Pokémon was originally discovered in the Sinnoh region, and as folklore would have it, it’s known for making people see horrific nightmares on moonless nights. Now, the Pitch-Black Pokémon is sneaking onto Aeos Island during the spookiest time of year as a Speedster ready to bring unbridled horror. Look forward to special Halloween events and a slew of spooky-themed Holowear alongside its arrival!
Pokémon Scarlet & Pokémon Violet
Get ready for some fa-boo-lous festivities! From Monday, 28 October, 2024, at 11:00 AEDT to Friday, 1 November, 2024, at 10:59 AEDT, mass outbreaks of Gastly, Misdreavus, Shuppet, and Bramblin will be appearing throughout the Paldea region. Gengar will also appear more frequently in 5-star Tera Raid Battles. These Gengar will have Ghost as their Tera Type, so gather your courage before challenging them. Defeating Gengar will yield some frightfully festive rewards, including tons of Rare Candy.
Splatoon 3
Both Inklings and Octolings are going batty for a ghoulish Splatfest happening Saturday, 26th October at 11:00 a.m. AEDT to Monday, 28th October at 11:00 a.m. AEDT. This event’s question is dressed to impress: What would you be in a fantasy world? A wizard, knight, or ninja? To receive free in-game gear, simply open the game via the News article on your Nintendo Switch device and then access the terminal in the Lobby.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons
The wait is almost over, ghouls and jewels! In just a few short days, you’ll be able to take part in a Halloween event for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. If you want to take advantage of this spooky season, there are still a few things you can do on your island. For example, it may be time to water your pumpkin patch, pick out a costume from the Able Sisters shop, or stock up on some candy. On the evening of Halloween, be sure to take a stroll on your island and chat with some of your costumed residents. You may also meet Jack, the czar of Halloween!
Apex Legends
Haunting time is upon us, Legends! Trick N’ Treat Trios returns along with some familiar tricks and treats: Copycat Kits giving you the power of other Legends, Rev Shell Grenades to hunt enemies with wicked precision, and munch on candy for shields, EVO, and Ultimate charge. Complete a new Reward Track for Epic Skins for Mirage and the Devotion.
Overwatch 2
Prepare to wield dark magic and chaos in Overwatch 2’s haunting new season. From chilling new game modes to spellbinding skins, Season 13 promises a thrilling fusion of witchcraft, horror, and heroic battles, delivering fresh content for Halloween... and an exciting My Hero Academia collaboration! Fortnite
Want to play a game? How about some Battle Royale… during Fortnitemares 2024? This year’s frightening festivities bring the explosive Boom Billy, a rideable chainsaw, the return of Horde Rush, and plenty of Quest rewards like the Jack-o'-Drifter Contrail and Great Scarecrow Glider. Fortnitemares 2024 runs now until the end of Chapter 5 Season 4!
Fall Guys
Tricks, Trapezes, and a whole lot of trouble: It’s a Halloween knockout with these new levels! Celebrate the terror of Halloween with some aerial screams on the Trapeze. Falloween 2024 introduces Trapezes as a permanent fixture in Creative mode, because there’s nothing more terrifying than catapulting yourself through the air at unpredictable speeds. Speaking of Trapezes, you’ll find plenty of them in this concoction of new and returning Halloween-themed maps.
Rocket League
Thought spiders were scary? It’s the Sinister Six you should be afraid of… The world of Marvel’s Spider-Man swings into Rocket League for this year’s Haunted Hallows! Not into vehicular villainy? Haunted Hallows also has heroic wares for all web-heads. Complete Challenges to unlock Toppers, Decals, and other items based on some of Spider-Man’s greatest foes — including Venom, Mysterio, and the Green Goblin!
Disney Dreamlight Valley
The Trick-or-Treat event returns! Collect Candy Bowls that appear in the Plaza to gather green, purple, and red Candies. These sweets can be consumed or gifted to complete Event Duties—granting you seasonal rewards! This year's event also brings with it a new craftable furniture item: Turn your event treats into Mickey's Halloween Candy Bowl! A crafting recipe will arrive in your in-game mailbox once the event starts.
