Carbo-load up on a heaping helping of Splatoon 3 Splatfest starting 10th August

Rye, hello again, fellow researchers. Our Squid Research Lab has been grinding away to bring you the latest Splatfest* news—and things are starting to warm up!

But first, if you’re new to the Splatfest scene, it’s a festive time in the Splatoon™ 3 game where you can give your opinion on themes that spark great debate, then fight for your side. But be warned: for this Splatfest, you may end up finding your starch nemesis! The question this time is:

Which would you eat every day? Do you find yourself kneading bread? Are you in it for the long grain with rice? Or do you see all the pasta-bilities with oodles of noodles?

You can start noshing on this Splatfest Saturday, 10th August at 10 a.m. to Monday, 12th August at 10 a.m. AEST. You can pick your side in the game right now, but you’ll need to wait until the event time to battle it out.

Splatoon 3 + Expansion Pass has now released in Australia and New Zealand at select retailers. This physical bundle also comes with a 3-month Nintendo Switch Online individual membership to help you get started with online play!

One last thing…

If you’re looking for more single-player content, the Side Order DLC** for Splatoon 3 is out now! From what we gather, it seems to be a new adventure designed to be played over and over. You can access it with the Splatoon 3: Expansion Pass.
