We're excited to see you at the event! Here are some things that might help you plan your day. Please check back for more updates leading up to the event.

Entry Time Reservation

To ensure a smooth experience at Nintendo Live 2024 SYDNEY and reduce wait times to enter the event, we ask all attendees to reserve an entry time window on your ticketed day.

This no-cost reservation will guarantee you priority entry within your booked time slot. Available spots in each entry window are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so don't delay!

Reserve your entry time with a Warp Pipe Pass from 18th July 2024 at 9:00am (AEST) here.

Mario Dojo

Players of all skill levels are invited to take part in a single-elimination sequence of Mario games to compete for fun—and bragging rights! Aim to win in all three games, like Mario Kart™ 8 Deluxe and Super Mario Maker™ 2, in this winner-moves-on competition. The final game will be played on a showdown stage with three other finalists.

Nintendo Switch Experience Zones

Explore areas themed after many worlds of Nintendo, including The Legend of Zelda™, Super Mario™, Pokémon™, Pikmin™, Animal Crossing™, Splatoon™, Nintendo Switch™ Sports and Kirby™. Play games on the Nintendo Switch™ system, compete in friendly challenges, and more!

Character meet and greets

Meet Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach from the Super Mario series; Isabelle from the Animal Crossing series; Pikachu from the Pokémon series and Kirby from the Kirby series. Each character will be available at different times throughout the day. (Timing and availability subject to change.)

Game-inspired sculptures

Explore real-world recreations of in-game fun! Explore sculptures inspired by games like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Animal Crossing: New Horizons and more.

How to shop the store.

Step 1

Collect a ticket

You'll need to collect an entry time ticket from the My Nintendo Store ticket distribution zone on the show floor. Please check the event map closer to the date for location.

This ticket will give you a specified 20-minute window to queue and enter the My Nintendo Store.

Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis at the following times: 10:00am, 12:30pm, 2:00pm, and 3:30pm.

Please collect your ticket(s) with your entire group to ensure all of your party will be able to enter the store.

Strictly one ticket per customer. Allocations are limited.

Step 2

Join the queue to enter My Nintendo Store and go shopping!

At your ticketed entry time, you will be able to queue for entry at the My Nintendo Store.

Use the provided catalogue to choose and mark your products, and present this at the checkout to place your order.

Limit of 1 of the same product per person, unless stated otherwise. While stock lasts.

Step 3

Collect your order

After completing your purchase at the store, you will need to collect your order from My Nintendo Store's pick-up counter on Level 2, as you exit the event.

Please retain your receipt for proof of purchase and present it to staff when collecting your order.

Frequently Asked Questions

Event Entry & Facilities

Children ages 6 and under do not need an individual event ticket to attend. They may attend with their parent or guardian who does have an event ticket.

Children ages 7 and above can receive tickets as part of a Nintendo Account family group.

All attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian attending with their own event ticket.

There’s a limit of one ticketed day per Nintendo Account or Nintendo Account family group.

Re-entry to the show floor is not guaranteed, however may be permitted at event organisers' discretion, subject to capacity at the time. Wait times may apply.

If you have received a ticket your eligible support person/companion will not require a separate ticket to attend.

If you have an eligible support person/companion you will need to register your support person/companion by contacting us at https://www.nintendo.com/au/support/contact-us/, selecting the "Nintendo Live 2024 SYDNEY Event option."

On the day of the event please head to the customer service desk for check in, bringing your government issued companion card.

No, walk-up tickets on the days of the event will not be available.

Prop weapons cannot be approved by Event staff or security for entry into the Event venue and therefore attendees must not bring prop weapons onto the premises.

Attendees must not bring the following items into the event venue: weapons, prop weapons, markers, skateboards, lighters, controlled substances, large containers, gum, stickers, recording devices (excluding mobile phones and any recording devices possessed by authorised media), food or beverages, other than water in a plastic sports bottle or medically necessary items. Nintendo and event venue reserve the right to limit backpacks, large bags, and similar items.

You won't be able to purchase food or beverages at the event, however attendees can bring in water in your own plastic water bottle. We recommend you eat either before or after your visit, and there are a number of restaurants and kiosks within easy access of the venue.

Warp Pipe Pass

A Warp Pipe Pass is a no-cost reservation that provides priority entry to Nintendo Live 2024 SYDNEY during 1 of 3 entry windows (below) on either the 31st of August or the 1st of September.

  • Entry window #1: 10:00am – 11:59am (AEST)
  • Entry window #2: 12:00pm – 1:29pm (AEST)
  • Entry window #3: 1:30pm – 3:00pm (AEST)

Attendees are welcome to stay beyond their Warp Pipe Pass entry window.

Reserving an entry window with a Warp Pipe Pass ensures a smoother experience by reducing wait times to enter the event. Warp Pipe Pass holders will gain priority entry during their designated entry window.

Starting on 18th July 2024 at 9:00am (AEST), people with a Nintendo Live 2024 SYDNEY digital event ticket can register for a Warp Pipe Pass online at experience.nintendo.com. After you've successfully registered, you will receive a confirmation email from Nintendo.

Please note that you must have a Nintendo Account with a valid Nintendo Live 2024 SYDNEY digital event ticket to sign up for a Warp Pipe Pass.

Warp Pipe Passes for each entry window are available on a first come, first served basis, so register now to secure your preferred time.

The person who registered the Nintendo Account family group for event tickets can register anyone in the group for a Warp Pipe Pass. Members of a Nintendo Account family group can also register themselves for a Warp Pipe Pass.

Please ensure everyone in the family group has a Warp Pipe Pass reservation.

Please check that the Warp Pipe Pass was successfully registered by verifying it under "My Tickets/Passes" from the red navigation bar and then selecting "Warp Pipe Passes" here.

If the pass exists, you can always use your browser to print it out. We will also send a copy of the pass to the e-mail address associated with your Nintendo Account.

If you still can't locate the email, be sure to check your email inbox's Junk, Spam, or Promotions folder.

If you have not reserved an entry time via the Warp Pipe Pass reservations, you can still enter the event, but may experience longer wait times subject to the event's current capacity. Please note that wait times may be expected as we accommodate attendees based on available space, and priority will be given to attendees with a reservation for that entry window.

If timeslots are greyed out, that means there are no more spots available in that entry window. You can only select timeslots that are blue (available).

Your timeslot will be held for 10 minutes.

Warp Pipe Passes are non-transferrable and can only be used once.

Please arrive during the designated entry window on your Warp Pipe Pass. If you miss your timeslot, your access to the event will be subject to the event's current capacity. Please note that wait times may be expected as we accommodate attendees based on available space.

We encourage you to cancel your Nintendo Live 2024 SYDNEY digital event ticket if you're not able to attend.

If you experience poor internet connectivity at the event, you may not be able to login or pull up your activity pass QR Code®. When you register for a Warp Pipe Pass, we will send your pass to the email address associated with your Nintendo Account. We recommend that you print this pass out in case you experience an issue with internet connectivity at the event.

My Nintendo Store

Anyone who intends to make a transaction at the My Nintendo Store will require an entry time ticket. You'll need to present this ticket to enter the My Nintendo Store, and this will be collected at checkout to place your order.

If you plan on shopping as a group and placing one combined transaction (e.g. as a Family group of up to 6 people), please queue and collect your entry time ticket(s) with your entire group to ensure all of your party will be able to enter the store.

Only customers with an entry time ticket will be allowed to enter the My Nintendo Store.

Your ticket will give you a specified 20-minute window to queue and enter the My Nintendo Store within one of four session times. Tickets will be allocated based on the first available 20min window within the applicable session time at the time you collect your ticket.

Please note, session times may vary on the day depending on store conditions.

Please arrive during the 20-minute entry time window listed on your ticket to queue and enter the store.

Queueing will open at the start of each entry time window, for ticket holders in that window only. To help avoid congestion, please do not line up prior to your scheduled time.

Customers with an entry time ticket for the current entry time window will be let in as store capacity allows.

To ensure we can serve as many customers as possible, you will only be able to queue and enter the My Nintendo Store during the allocated entry time on your ticket.

Entry time allocations are limited, so we urge you to be on time for your ticketed entry time window.

If you miss your ticketed entry time, you will need to try to collect a new entry time ticket from the My Nintendo Store ticket distribution zone at the next designated distribution time (10:00am, 12:30pm, 2:00pm, or 3:30pm).

When you collect your entry time window ticket, you'll also receive a paper catalogue with all products on offer at Nintendo Live (while stock lasts). A selection of the range will also be on display at My Nintendo Store for you to browse once you have entered the store.

Select which products you wish to purchase by filling out the provided paper catalogue and present this at checkout to the cashier.

Your order will be prepared and available for pick-up at the My Nintendo Store pick-up counter, located on Level 2, as you exit the event. A map with the pick-up location will be shared at checkout.

Credit card and EFTPOS are available for purchases. Cash is not accepted.

Products are not available to take with you from the My Nintendo Store. After placing your order, you will need to collect this from the My Nintendo Store pick-up counter after exiting the event.

Your order can be collected from My Nintendo Store's pick-up counter on Level 2, as you exit the event. A map with the pick-up location will be shared at checkout.
