Nintendo Live 2024 SYDNEY Ticket Registration TERMS & CONDITIONS
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Void where prohibited.
These are the Terms & Conditions to register for a chance to receive tickets to attend Nintendo Live 2024, being held in Sydney, New South Wales (“Event”), from 31 August 2024 to 1 September 2024. Tickets to the Event will be provided through a free-to-enter selection process (“Drawing”).
Sponsor: Nintendo Australia Pty Limited, 804 Stud Road, Scoresby, Victoria, 3179, Australia (“Nintendo”).
Eligibility: Registration for this Drawing is available only to individuals who are at least 18 years old, are residents of Australia or New Zealand and have an Australian or New Zealand Nintendo Account.
How to Register: Registration begins on 17 June 2024 at 09:00am (AEST) and ends on 30 June 2024 at 11:59pm (AEST). Limit one registration per person. To register, you must (1) have a Nintendo Account (if you do not have a Nintendo Account, you can register for one here: https://accounts.nintendo.com), (2) visit https://www.nintendo.com/au/nintendo-live-2024-sydney, (3) sign into your Nintendo Account, and (4) complete the registration form and register for the individual ticket drawing (“Individual Ticket Allotment”) for a chance to receive a Ticket or register for the family ticket drawing (“Family Ticket Allotment”) for a chance for up to 6 people from the same Nintendo Account Family group to receive tickets. To register for the Family Ticket Allotment, the person registering must list the Nintendo Accounts of the other potential Event attendees that are in their Nintendo Account Family group when registering. Those selected in the Drawing will be sent a digital QR Code to the email address associated with the Nintendo Account that registered (collectively, “Ticket”).
All potential Event attendees ages 7 years old to 18 years old (“Minor”) must have a Nintendo Account and be part of the same Nintendo Account Family group as the person registering (if you do not have a Nintendo Account Family group, you can create one by following these instructions: https://www.nintendo.com.au/support/articles/how-to-add-members-to-a-family-group). All Minors attending the Event must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian that have received a Ticket in accordance with the Terms and Conditions. Children ages 6 and under do not need a Nintendo Account or Ticket to attend the Event and they may attend the Event with their parent or guardian that has received a Ticket. Attendees that bring any Minors to the Event represent and warrant that they are the parent or legal guardian of such Minor(s).
Attendee Selection: On or around 1 July 2024 Nintendo will select the Nintendo Accounts that will be provided with Tickets from all eligible registrations for the Drawing.
No substitutions or exchanges (including for cash) will be permitted for any Tickets. Tickets have no cash value and may not be transferred or sold to any other person. Limit one registration per Nintendo Account. TRAVEL TO AND FROM THE EVENT AND ALL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF TICKETS ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE TICKET RECIPIENT.
Privacy: Nintendo is collecting participants’ information for the purposes of taking registrations and conducting the Drawing. If you do not provide this information, Nintendo may not be able to include your Nintendo Account in the Drawing and/or provide your Nintendo Account with Tickets. Nintendo may disclose this information to organisations engaged by Nintendo to conduct the registration and Drawing; government, law enforcement and regulatory bodies where this is necessary for Nintendo to comply with its legal obligations; and other companies within the Nintendo Group including Nintendo Co., Ltd. in Japan, Nintendo of Europe AG and its branches in Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the United Kingdom; and Nintendo of America Inc. located in the United States. Nintendo is bound by the provisions of the Privacy Act 1988 (Australia), the Privacy Act 2020 (New Zealand), and its own privacy policies. You can gain access to the information which Nintendo holds about you by contacting the Privacy Officer, Nintendo Australia Pty Limited, 804 Stud Road, Scoresby, Victoria 3179, Australia.
Additional Terms: The Drawing is not a lottery and Nintendo may utilise a combination of random and non-random criteria to select Nintendo Accounts to receive Tickets. By registering for the Drawing and/or attending the Event you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, the Nintendo Community Guidelines (https://www.nintendo.com.au/about/community-guidelines), the ICC Sydney Conditions of Entry at https://iccsydney.com.au/about/venue-information/conditions-of-entry, and all other terms, conditions, rules and policies that are presented to you at the time of registration or Event attendance, or otherwise communicated to you by Nintendo or the Event venue (collectively, “Event Rules”). These Terms and Conditions will be governed, construed, and interpreted under the laws of New South Wales, Australia and is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and is void where prohibited. Nintendo shall not be responsible for late, lost, illegible, incomplete, damaged, or misdirected registrations and accepts no responsibility for any injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting from registration for participation in the Event. Nintendo reserves the right to amend or make changes to these Terms and Conditions or to terminate this Event, and the decisions of Nintendo with respect to these Terms and Conditions are final and binding in all respects.
Tickets are required to be admitted into the Event. Maximum one Ticket per person. Tickets are a revocable licence to attend the Event. As a condition of this licence, attendees agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions and other Event Rules. Failure to comply will result in forfeiture of this licence in Nintendo’s sole discretion without compensation. Nintendo is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged Tickets.
By entering the Event, attendees give Nintendo, and anyone authorised by Nintendo, irrevocable permission to: photograph and/or record attendees in connection with the attendee’s participation in and attendance at the Event; edit and modify any resulting photographs, recordings or other media or materials (the “Photographs and Recordings”); and use the Photographs and Recordings and attendee’s likeness, persona, voice and statements from the Photographs or Recordings in any manner or media indefinitely in connection with the commercial, promotional, industry and/or internal purposes of Nintendo, its affiliates and promotional partners, without any compensation the attendee.
Any delay or failure of Nintendo to perform its obligations under these Terms and Conditions, including, without limitation, with respect to distribution of the Ticket(s), shall be excused to the extent that such delay or failure is caused by an event or occurrence beyond Nintendo’s reasonable control, including, without limitation, acts of God, actions by governmental authorities, fires, floods, storms, earthquakes, inclement weather, pandemic, natural disasters, riots, wars, terrorism, or labour disputes.
YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT ANY PARTICIPATION IN THE EVENTS AND ANY RELATED ACTIVITIES IS SOLELY AT YOUR OWN RISK, AND YOU HEREBY VOLUNTARILY ASSUME AND ACCEPT ANY AND ALL RISKS RELATED TO YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE REGISTRATION PROCESS OR EVENT AND ANY RELATED ACTIVITIES INCLUDING ANY PHYSICAL HAZARDS, RISKS AND DANGERS, INJURIES OR LOSSES THAT MAY OCCUR TO YOU OR YOUR PROPERTY. ON BEHALF OF YOURSELF AND YOUR ASSIGNS, HEIRS, DEVISEES AND ESTATE (COLLECTIVELY, “SUCCESSORS”), YOU HEREBY RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS NINTENDO, NINTENDO CO., LTD., AND EACH OF THEIR RESPECTIVE SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS (COLLECTIVELY, “RELEASED PARTIES”), FROM ALL CLAIMS, DAMAGES, LOSSES, EXPENSES AND LIABILITIES ARISING FROM THE REGISTRATION PROCESS OR THE EVENT, AND ANY RELATED ACTIVITIES, OR DELIVERY, MISDELIVERY, ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION USE OR INABILITY TO USE ANY TICKET, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Attendees consent to reasonable search of all items carried onto the premises. Attendees must not bring the following items into the Event venue: weapons, prop weapons*, markers, skateboards, lighters, controlled substances, large containers, gum, stickers, recording devices (excluding mobile phones and any recording devices possessed by authorised media), food or beverages, other than empty plastic sports bottles or medically necessary items. Nintendo and Event venue reserve the right to limit backpacks, large bags, prop weapons and similar items.
*Prop weapons cannot be approved by Event staff or security for entry into the Event venue and therefore attendees must not bring prop weapons onto the premises.
