How to Cancel a Pre-Order for a Game on Nintendo eShop

In this article, you'll learn how to cancel a pre-order you have placed for a game on Nintendo eShop.

Important:

A pre-order can only be cancelled if it is 7 days or longer before the game’s release.

What to do

To cancel your pre-order, you need access to the Nintendo Account that placed the pre-order and access to either a Nintendo Switch system or an internet browser on a computer or smart device.

What will you use to cancel your pre-order?
  1. From the Nintendo Switch HOME Menu, open Nintendo eShop and select the user that placed the pre-order.

  2. Select your user icon in the upper-right corner to access your Account Information.

  3. Scroll down to Your Pre-Orders to view the pre-orders you have placed.

  4. Select Cancel next to the pre-ordered game you wish to cancel.
