Nintendo Network ID and Nintendo Account Merge Funds Discontinuation

As of March 12, 2024, 4:00PM AEDT it will no longer be possible to combine the Nintendo eShop fund balance between a Nintendo Network ID and a Nintendo Account.

If you have an unused balance in the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS or Wii U, linking your Nintendo Network ID to your Nintendo Account and merging your wallets will allow you to use your balance to purchase digital download titles, DLC, content passes, and other similar items for Nintendo Switch after March 11.

Keep in mind that you can create a Nintendo Account and merge the funds even if you do not own or use a Nintendo Switch system at this time.
