Problems with Download Codes (My Nintendo Reward)

Situation:

An error occurs when you try to redeem a download code that was issued as a My Nintendo Reward (Game or DLC).

Important Information

Reward codes used to order My Nintendo Store rewards are not download codes.

Note:

For download codes purchased through a retailer (NOT as a My Nintendo reward), click here.

What to Do:

• Verify that you are redeeming your download code correctly.

• Make sure the country setting is correct on your Nintendo Switch console.

  • A download code for a Australia and New Zealand game can only be redeemed on a Australian or New Zealand system.

  • If you are attempting to use a download code or system from a different region (a North American download code with a Australian system, for example), the code will not work.
