Find a mode in Super Mario Party Jamboree that vibes with your…vibe!

The Super Mario Party™ Jamboree game is more stuffed than a Thanksgiving dinner: There are tons of characters, minigames, and modes. In fact, those different modes may appeal to different kinds of partiers!

Using completely scientific data (that we totally didn’t just make up right now), we’ve narrowed partier types into six categories. Which category fits you best? Are you a mix of a couple different ones? Do you aspire to be a certain kind? Let’s find out together!

Are you…

”The Competitive Board Gamer”

You’re the kind of partier who heads in with a giant bag of board games. While you’ll patiently teach folks how to play, the gloves come off when it’s go time. You typically don’t string together the letters “co-op” in your daily life.

Modes to try first: Mario Party, Koopathlon

”The Co-op Champ”

Co-op Champs and Competitive Board Gamers are two sides of the same coin. Your travel bag of games is just as big, but you’re all about everyone working together for a common goal (however, you maaaay still bring up having the most points at the end).

Modes to try first: Toad’s Item Factory, Rhythm Kitchen

”The Mover & Shaker”

Do you like to get movin’ and groovin’ in a party? Equal parts motion and commotion, a Mover & Shaker needs to be aware of their surroundings at all times when using a Joy-Con™ controller*.

Modes to try first: Rhythm Kitchen, Paratroopa Flight School, Toad’s Item Factory

”The Online Warrior”

Not all parties involve a group of people in the same room—and you’re just fine with that! Online** get-togethers can be a great way for out-of-town friends to catch up. Online Warriors keep the party going no matter the time zone.

Modes to try first: Bowser Kaboom Squad, Mario Party, Koopathlon, Minigame Bay

”The Solo Partier”

Yes, not all parties need a ton of people—sometimes you just want to curl up with a game by yourself and have some You Time. The Solo Partier is always the life of the party—it’s science!

Mode to try first: Party-Planner Trek

”The Unwind…er”

Are you a go-with-the-flow kind of person? Are you indifferent to competitive glory or becoming the greatest tag-team duo? Do you wish you could just chill out with Paratroopers in the sky with no time limit? Well, uh, there’s a mode for that!

Mode to fly first: Paratroopa Flight School (Free Flight)
