Members of the Rescue Corps have landed themselves in a heap of trouble! Now, it’s up to you to find the crew and fix the Rescue Corps ship in the Pikmin™ 4 game. Create your own explorer and navigate a larger-than-life world where everyday objects—like plants, pots, and the occasional treasure—tower over you. Luckily, you won’t have to take on this challenge alone.

Grow, pluck, and guide small, plantlike creatures known as Pikmin. These pint-sized pals will accompany you on your expedition, helping you to gather resources and going into battle with enemies much, much larger than them. Find a path forward using their different abilities, like Red Pikmin’s fire resistance and Ice Pikmin’s freezing effects. You can even venture out at night with a little help from Glow Pikmin!

You get a space dog, too! Oatchi, resident good boy and dependable partner, can help with things like smashing obstacles and carrying you and your Pikmin throughout your adventure. With your plucky Pikmin and capable canine, no challenge is too big!

Whether you’re a veteran explorer or this is your first mission brief, almost anyone can be an explorer in Pikmin 4—no previous experience needed! You can learn about the character customization, story, some of the Pikmin and their abilities, and more by checking out the videos in this article.
