Two new types of Decor Pikmin arrive in the Pikmin Bloom app

New Hotel Decor Pikmin are checking in

Keep an eye out for seedlings that grow into a new type of Decor Pikmin: the Hotel Amenities Decor Pikmin*! These seedlings can now be found near hotels.

*Please note that Hotel Amenities Decor Pikmin seedlings are not guaranteed to be found at all hotel facilities. For the Hotel Amenities Decor Pikmin to display correctly, please use app version v74 or later.

New Event Challenge brings Mahjong Tile Decor Pikmin

For the next event challenge, you can step your way towards collecting new Mahjong Tile Decor Pikmin**!

In case you aren’t familiar with the game of mahjong, it’s a 4-player game that originated in 19th-century China and later spread around the world. In it, players take turns picking and discarding 34 types of tiles from the playing field to complete specific combinations.

For this event, Decor Pikmin will be donning "honor" tiles representing dragons and winds, as well as numbered tiles from the game's three suits: bamboo, marbles, and characters. When combined, these can form high-scoring hands such as "Thirteen Orphans" or "Mixed Terminals" among many others.

Whether it’s your first time hearing about mahjong or you’re an avid player, we hope you enjoy these new Decor Pikmin!

Event details

Mahjong Tile Decor Pikmin come in a total of 14 different types. The first seven will appear during the first part of the event that begins on Aug. 14. The remaining seven will join during the second part of the event, starting Aug. 26. Take on the challenge to meet them all!

Event duration: From Aug. 14 at 12 a.m. local time until Sept. 10 at 11:59 p.m. local time

Part 1: Starts Aug. 14 at 12 a.m. local time

Part 2: Starts Aug. 26 at 12 a.m. local time

Winged or Rock Mahjong Tile Decor Pikmin. Please note you’ll meet them at random and are not guaranteed to complete the whole set.

Mysterious Mushrooms are a special type of mushroom that will grow only during the event. Mahjong Tile Decor Pikmin will be especially strong against this type of mushroom! If you find any Mysterious Mushroom, be sure to send your Mahjong Tile Decor Pikmin to clear the way!

Note: After the event, Mahjong Tile Decor Pikmin strength against Mysterious Mushrooms, shall they ever appear again, will be the same as that of other Decor Pikmin.
