Side Order, the new Splatoon 3 single-player campaign DLC, is available now

Ladies and gentlesquids, we are proud to announce that the Side Order DLC* for the Splatoon™ 3 game is now on the menu (that is to say, “It’s out!”).

Side Order is the second wave of the Splatoon™ 3: Expansion Pass DLC. It adds a brand-new single-player campaign that’s designed to be played again and again, just like spinning your favorite beats on repeat.

Step into the role of Agent 8 (a young Octoling who defected from the Octarians), see what’s become of Inkopolis Square from the Splatoon 2 game, and make your way up the Spire of Order. Here, you’ll choose what challenges to tackle from a list of randomized encounters. You may never quite know what the next floor is serving.

Build your palette with power-ups called color chips to expand your arsenal and abilities as you progress up the Spire. Each floor gets increasingly tough, but don't worry—you’ll get stronger too. With each run, you'll acquire more Prlz (pronounced “pearlz”) to spend on permanent upgrades to help make the next run a little easier. You'll need every edge you can get if you want to survive to the 30th floor!

So, that covers Wave 2: Side Order…but what about Wave 1?

Wave 1: Inkopolis

Purchasing the Splatoon 3: Expansion Pass will also let you travel back to Inkopolis Plaza, the bustling hub city from the first Splatoon game. Oh, and music fans should carve out some time to visit here during Splatfests**—the super popular duo, the Squid Sisters, love performing during these events!
