Your EA SPORTS FC™ 25 Team of the Year is here
Celebrate 2024’s most elite players from across The World’s Game with the EA SPORTS FC™ 25 Men’s and Women’s Team of the Year.
The following 22 players made the prestigious men’s and women’s Team of the Year final XI squads as a result of dazzling performances, record-breaking tallies, and filling trophy cabinets with coveted silverware.
Women’s Team of the Year
Gotham FC goalkeeper, Ann-Katrin Berger, is the first name on the women’s Team of the Year team sheet, followed by Paris Saint-Germain’s flying fullback Sakina Karchaoui and her French compatriot, Lyon’s Wendie Renard. FC Barcelona’s Irene Paredes closes out the defender picks alongside Lucy Bronze who continued to shine following here summer transfer from FC Barcelona to Chelsea.
The FC Barcelona representation continues with the midfield picks as Spanish duo, Aitana Bonmatí and Alexia Putellas cement their place in the XI. They are joined by Chelsea’s Guro Reiten as the three in midfield.
A star-studded front three sees FC Barcelona’s Caroline Graham Hansen joined by Sophia Smith of Portland Thorns and Chelsea’s Lauren James.
Men’s Team of the Year
Following his Copa América heroics and spectacular performances that helped reinstate Villa Park as a home of European football, Emiliano Martínez takes the goalkeeping spot in this year’s Team of the Year. Liverpool’s rock at the back, Virgil van Dijk is joined by fellow Premier League centre half, William Saliba and Spanish compatriots, Dani Carvajal and Alejandro Grimaldo following yet another Champions League trophy lift for Real Madrid and a record-breaking season for Bayer Leverkusen.
Two England internationals are named in the Team of the Year midfield, with Cover Star Jude Bellingham being joined by Chelsea’s talisman Cole Palmer. Ballon d’Or winner, Rodri takes the final midfield place in a season that saw him lift the UEFA EURO 2024™ trophy with Spain.
A deadly attack rounds out the Men’s Team of the Year, pairing Real Madrid forwards, Vinicius Junior and Kylian Mbappé, with Liverpool’s prolific Mohamed Salah.
