Prince of the kingdom of Altea and successor to the hero Anri, who once defeated the Shadow Dragon, Medeus. When Medeus returns from the dead and uses the forces of Dolhr to lay waste to his homeland, Marth flees to the island kingdom of Talys. There, he defends Talys from a pirate attack and afterward launches a campaign to lay Dolhr low.
