The hero of Crimea, who led his forces to victory in the Mad King's War depicted in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance.
At the behest of Bastian, deputy prime minister of Crimea, Ike quells a rebellion instigated by Ludveck, duke of Felirae. In doing so, he stages a daring rescue of Queen Elincia's bodyguard, Lucia, mere moments before her execution—and once again throws himself into an epic conflict.

Ike is granted a knighthood by the newly crowned Queen Elincia of Crimea, but soon tires of the petty squabbles of the court and decides to relinquish his title and resume command of the Greil Mercenaries.
In the time since the Mad King's War, Ike has grown into a man worthy to be called a renowned hero and successor to his father, Greil. His experience as a mediator between beorc and laguz makes him an ideal candidate to lead the Laguz Alliance, a group formed to combat the influence of the Begnion Empire's scheming senate.
