There are two ways in which amiibo connect with your games.
Read/Write
You can store the results of your play on the amiibo and import the data into the software.
Read-Only
You can read the data in the amiibo into the software, but you cannot upload the data from the software.
Each amiibo figure can only store one piece of data for Read/Write-compatible titles.
If you want to record data from other compatible software, please go to "amiibo" in "Settings" on your Nintendo Switch and delete the data.
The amiibo with stored Read/Write-compatible software data can also be used with other dedicated Read-Only software.
【Example】
A Mario amiibo containing Super Smash Bros. Ultimate data will still allow players to use a Mario racing suit when read by Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
