[Handling of Customer Information]

Nintendo Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, “Nintendo, We or Us") will handle your information that you provide to Nintendo when using Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo (hereinafter, “Product”) as follows:

1. Customer information acquired by Nintendo

(1) Information obtained from the Product

Nintendo will acquire information relating to your use of the online features of the Product, such as your individual identification number, IP address, firmware version, and access date and time.

(2) Information acquired through accessing Nintendo’s website

When you access Nintendo’s website via your information terminal when using the Product, we may obtain information from that information terminal, such as the product model, operating system, telecommunications carrier, IP address, information terminal settings, and other identifiers unique to the information terminal.

2. Purposes of using the information

Nintendo will use the information acquired from you for the following purposes:

(1) Providing services related to the Product

Nintendo will use the information obtained from you to provide, maintain, and improve services related to the Product. Nintendo will use such information to protect us and other customers, and to investigate and prevent illegal or fraudulent activities.

(2) Provision of Nintendo account services

When you link your Nintendo Account to the Product, this “Handling of Customer Information” policy, as well as the Nintendo Account Terms of Use and Nintendo Account Privacy Policy, will apply. Furthermore, in this case, Nintendo may use your information acquired in connection with the Product for the purposes of providing and maintaining Nintendo account services, to protect us and other customers, and to investigate and prevent illegal or fraudulent activities. This may include sending notifications regarding the Product and Nintendo account services to the email address registered with your Nintendo account using the information, etc. linked to the Product.

(3) Responding to inquiries

Nintendo may use this information to resolve any problems you contact us about that you encounter while using the Product.
