The Zora River
The East Reservoir Lake, located upstream from the continuously flowing Zora River, is the true water source of Hyrule. Despite its beauty, the torrents created by the river and waterfalls are dangerous, so be careful not to get swept away when enjoying a swim.

Lynel has Ploymus Mountain, which rises to the east of Zora's Domain, as its territory.
Wielding electric arrows, Lynels are feared by the Zora people living in the domain.
Lynels are also known as being worthy foes and are extremely dangerous, but strong
people who are confident in their abilities can try challenging them head-on.
The Lynel is a large enemy that is half human, half beast. It has been confirmed that they dwell near the summit of Ploymus Mountain, and when they find a target, they charge while swinging a one-handed sword. Even at range, these powerful enemies will attack with electric arrows and gouts of flame. The first time you challenge one, you may feel weak at the knees, but stay calm and prioritize protecting yourself.
You can take them down by aiming for the head with a bow and arrow. Furthermore, by approaching from the back while they are down, it is possible to mount a Lynel's back. The window is short, but that period is a great chance to attack as much as you want.
Be careful with Lynels that have different hair color
As you travel through Hyrule, you may see Lynels with different hair and body colors. These Lynels are more ferocious and powerful, so if you find one, suppress your curiosity and leave the area quietly so you are not noticed. If you are found, there is no guarantee that you will live.

A song of a Zora child and
the mystery of the spear
The Champion Festival Song hummed around the Mipha statue by a girl of the Zora people. The lyrics are mysterious—"A gift from the sky...a scale of light... Splits the feet...of a Veiled Falls sight... Your trial awaits... It's glowing bright..." There is a rumor that they hide a secret related to the spear used for the festival.
The cursed dragon of
Mount Lanayru
Mount Lanayru is known as a holy mountain shrouded in ice. The Spring of Wisdom at the summit is a sacred place where it is said that the princess of Hyrule prayed in the past. Now it is said that there is a spirit there that has taken the form of a cursed dragon.
Three cedar trees and
hidden treasure
When you look up at the snowy mountains of the Lanayru Range, you will see three cedar trees. A letter found in a villager's house in Hateno Village mentioned that treasure lies in the direction of the sea, with the three cedar trees behind you.
The Lanayru Region has abundant water and is an easy environment for animals to inhabit.
A wide variety of animals inhabit the wetland zone, the mountain zone that acts as the water source, and the area around the Lanayru Sea.
One of them is the black-haired Water Buffalo with horns that protrude forward proudly.
It is difficult to observe the Blue Sparrow, a small blue bird that appears in puddles and the waterfront after the rain, because it is very alert and runs away quickly.
Rainy days are for animal watching
The Lanayru Region is the primary source of water in Hyrule due to its abundant rainfall, but it's a problem when visiting for sightseeing because there are many rainy days... some say. However, on rainy days, the sound of footsteps becomes difficult to hear due to the sound of the rain. It's perfect for getting up close without the animals noticing and observing closely.
Many waterfront creatures inhabit the area around Zora's Domain, such as the yellow-finned and black-scaled Mighty Carp and the Bright-Eyed Crab that appear in large numbers when it rains. They are relatively easy creatures to catch.
Sneaky River Snails have the property of glowing when it becomes night.
Run around the great land with Mountain Bucks
In the Rabia Plain, located south of the Lanayru Wetlands, you can observe herds of Mountain Bucks with magnificent antlers. It is difficult to get close due to their cautious nature, but if you successfully get close to a Mountain Buck, it's a chance to ride on its back and run around the great land.
There is a lot of rain in the Lanayru Region, and it is a region in which thunder occurs extremely easily. If you have metal shields or weapons, lightning will strike you directly and cause serious injury. When there is a thunderstorm, quickly remove metal shields and weapons or take cover in a building.
Of course, lightning does not strike only you. Enemies holding metal shields or weapons… will also fall prey to lightning strikes.
Eat delicious food and
prepare for
lightning strikes
Dishes made using Zapshrooms from the Gerudo Region can fill your stomach as well as make you resistant to lightning, killing two birds with one stone.
In addition, Electro Elixir, which has Electric Darners (which can be found when it rains) mixed in, also has an insulating effect. Why don't you try your preferred method?
