Push your skills and your fighting spirit to the limit to win through the competition. There is only room for one yokozuna!
'Shusse Ozumo' is a sports game that was developed by Technos Japan in 1984.
Players play as Sumo wrestlers, and aim to become a Yokozuna. 'Shusse Ozumo' is the oldest sumo arcade game and was the forerunner of later Sumo Tournament games.
Sumo is a competitive full-contact wrestling sport where a wrestler(Rikishi) attempts to force another wrestler out of a circular ring (Dohyo) or into touching the ground with anything other than the soles of the feet.
Dance a battle of skill and power in the sumo ring! There is only room for one yokozuna!
The "Arcade Archives" series has faithfully reproduced many classic Arcade masterpieces.
Players can change various game settings such as game difficulty, and also reproduce the atmosphere of arcade display settings at that time. Players can also compete against each other from all over the world with their high scores.
Please enjoy the masterpiece that built a generation for video games.
