EGGCONSOLE Dragon Slayer: The Legend of Heroes II PC-8801mkIISR
An RPG set in a world 20 years after the previous installment. Take on the role of Prince Atlas and confront a new darkness threatening the peace of Eselhasa. Crush
This title is a role-playing game released in 1992. Set 20 years after the events of its predecessor, Dragon Slayer: The Legend of Heroes, players take on the role of Prince Atlas, embarking on an adventure in Eselhasa following a massive earthquake.
The game retains the top-view movement scenes and command-selection battle system from the previous game. While preserving familiar functions and aesthetics, new features such as a revamped magic system and enhanced enemy graphics have been added, making the game even more engaging.
Though 20 years have passed within the storyline, the geography of Iseruhasa remains mostly unchanged. One of the game’s charms lies in the appearances of beloved characters like Runnan, Sonia, Row, Aron, and Gail I, whose stories continue as players journey across the land. Observing the differences in Eselhasa from the perspectives of Celios in the previous game and Atlas in this one adds an interesting layer to the experience.
The Legend of Heroes I and II are known as the Eselhasa series. For those who haven’t yet played these titles, this is a great chance to experience both games. This series is a showcase of the essence of Japanese RPGs, packed with charm. RPG fans, be sure to give it a try!
