Whether you’ve got a few people coming over or you’re planning a big ol’ shindig, any group size from 2 to 100 (yes, 100!) people can team up and get moving. Use Joy-Con mode* for up to eight players or expand your gathering to up to 100 players in smart device mode**.

Get weird in Team Contest

In Team Contest, two groups compete to see which can win a certain number of games first. Many games have several variations that modify the rules or add extra challenges—and laughs! Check out a few of the games you could have a mare-y time with:

UFOs: See who can summon aliens the fastest by having each person follow rhythmic motions using their Joy-Con controller or smart device.

Balloons: Using a Joy-Con controller, work together to pump up a balloon to the right size without popping it.

Hip Bump: In this bunny-bumpin’ battle, make a gentle bumping motion with your Joy-Con controller to try to knock your opponent out of the given in-game space.

More ways to play

Teaming up is great, but sometimes you just want to flex on your guest. We get it! You can see who will reign supreme in these free-for-all competitive modes.

Quiz Party: Test your wits (and reaction time) and answer quickly in Quiz Party mode. You can even create your own questions and try out custom quizzes.

Bingo Party: When it’s time to wind down, fire up Bingo Party! Use your smart devices and see who can be the first to get five in a row. It’s a pretty chill time.

Express yourself

Each player can even have a little more fun between games by communicating using their controls. When playing with Joy-Con controllers, players can throw virtual balls at fellow Team Contest players. But when playing with a smart device, you can type up a note or an in-game emoji for everyone to see.
