Help shape Minecraft by voting in a new mob
You have the power to bring a new mob into Minecraft: the tuff golem, the rascal, or the sniffer!
Each year, the Minecraft community helps shape the game by voting in a new mob. Mobs that have been added to Minecraft after previous votes include the glow squid, the allay, and... the phantom.
The mob vote opens at 9:00 a.m. PT on Oct. 14 and closes at 9:00 a.m. PT on Oct. 15. You only get one vote, but you can change it as many times as you want during these 24 hours.
The winner will be announced during Minecraft Live, a virtual event packed with news about the games and content creators. Minecraft Live will begin streaming at 9:00 a.m. PT on Oct. 15 on the Minecraft YouTube channel and on https://www.minecraft.net/live.
Cast your votes, set an alarm, and start stockpiling snacks before the show starts!
How do I vote?
There are several ways to cast your vote: you can visit Minecraft.net online, or by playing the Minecraft Live 2022 in-game map created for this occasion. To access this map, launch the game on your Nintendo Switch™ system and select the Minecraft Live button located in the bottom left corner of the main screen. (Please make sure you have the latest version of the game.)
