Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate championship tournaments

Two championships are just around the corner! The Mario Kart™ 8 Deluxe Championship 2024 tournament will be held on August 24, with the Super Smash Bros.™ Ultimate Championship 2024 tournament just after that on August 25. Both tournaments will be streamed live and begin at 12:00 p.m. PT, and there will be opportunities to qualify for both.

The top six players from both days of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Championship 2024 Qualifier tournament* may be invited to compete in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Championship 2024 tournament. For the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Championship 2024 tournament, the top four players from the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Championship 2024 Qualifier tournament** and the top two from the NintendoVS Challenge Cup June 2024 tournament*** may be invited. Best of luck to all competitors!

Tournament Overview:

The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Championship 2024 Qualifier tournament will use the following settings:

• Mode: 150cc Race

• Teams: No Teams

• Items: Normal Items

• COM: Normal COM

• Vehicles: All Vehicles

• Smart Steering: No

• Frequency: Fixed Period

• Race Count: 24 Races

• Group Shuffling: Every 4th Match

• Player Rating: Any

• Public/Private: Code Required

How to register: To enter, you must participate in the Tournament in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game between 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. PT on May 19 and May 26. To access the Tournament, select the following, in order, within the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game: Online Play, Tournaments, Search by Code. Enter the following code to enter the in-game tournament.

How to register: To enter, you must participate in the Tournament in the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. PT on June 16. To access the Tournament, select the following, in order, within the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game: Online, Smash, Official Tourney Qualifiers. A message will pop up to review the Tournament rules. Select “Yes” to agree.
