Know your role!
There are four distinct roles to choose from, each with their own special perks and abilities.
Sword Hero: Agile and blessed with a varied array of attacks, the Sword Hero is the ultimate all-rounder.
Hammer Lord: Wallop bothersome bosses and inflict some serious damage with the powerful Hammer Lord.
Doctor Healmore: Doctor Healmore can restore the health of your party. When the going gets tough, you’ll be glad the doctor’s in the house.
Beam Mage: Bring time to a standstill and overwhelm enemies with the Beam Mage’s marvellous magical powers.
The strength of your combative crew will determine whether you’re successful in battle, or if you come up short.
Go, Team Kirby!
With four heroic missions to complete in every quest, stern challenges await even the most battle-hardened of players – clear a level while playing as a particular role, or put in a show-stopping performance to earn a coveted Platinum Medal.
Dominate the enemy
Keep an eye out for magical Power Tablets during battle! If every member of your party manages to pick one up, you’ll unleash a devastating Team Meteor attack that will leave the enemy stunned for a few seconds – and a lot worse for wear!
Treasure trove
Once a quest is complete, you can enjoy the spoils of victory! Collect various types of fragments to craft powerful armour and weapons at the Shoppe, gain experience points to level up your brave warriors, and earn a variety of medals depending on your performance in battle.
Fantastic fruit
Kirby’s well known for inhaling all sorts of things, but this time glittering Gem Apples are at the top of the menu. These tasty morsels can help you unlock new quests and revitalise your tuckered troop in an instant!
You can even combine Gem Apples with the power of fragments to craft shiny new gear. There are three different types of fragments – Fire, Water and Light – and you can earn more depending on which day of the week you play.
You’ll receive Gem Apples whenever you clear a stage, but you can harvest them every 12 hours from the Gem Apple Tree, or even purchase them via Nintendo eShop**, if you like.
Dream team
Summon other adventurers to help you in battle! StreetPass Adventurers can join you for up to three quests, so help is always close at hand – they may even bring fragments and Gem Apples with them as a welcome gift!
amiibo
You can tap in amiibo (sold separately) to receive various fragments which can be used to craft powerful weapons and armour! You can use any compatible amiibo, but amiibo from the Kirby series will grant you extra fragments.
