It's three decades since ghost-dodging, dot-munching video game legend Pac-Man first took the world by storm, and to celebrate this very special occasion, PAC-MAN Party 3D brings you a bumper bonanza of mega multiplayer minigames, all in three eye-popping dimensions.
There are dozens of wild and wacky challenges awaiting you, whether you're taking on up to three other players in an innovative twist on a classic board game, or flying solo in a rich and engaging Story Mode. One minute you'll be competing in a pizza spinning contest, the next you'll be getting hooked on fishing, strapping on a rocket pack, decorating a giant cake, or grabbing your racquet to play tennis with a twist. With Pac-Man and pals, the party never stops.
The intuitive controls mean PAC-MAN Party 3D couldn't be easier to pick up and play, so Pac-Man maestros and complete novices alike can join in the fun. The sheer variety of minigames on offer means the unique capabilities of Nintendo 3DS are utilised to the full, with button controls, Touch Screen, microphone and motion sensor all in the mix.
In addition to Local Play (which allows up to four players who have their own copies of the game to compete) the game features Download Play, which allows up to four players with Nintendo 3DS systems to compete using only a single Game Card. You can also pass the system between players as you travel across the game board, rack up points, stock up on Power Cookies, build on your land, and challenge anyone who encroaches on your turf.
With the usual spooky suspects (Blinky, Pinky, Inky and Clyde) all out in force, the spirit of the original Pac-Man is preserved, while the action is taken in a whole host of new directions - not to mention, a whole new dimension. On top of all this, the game features original arcade versions of PAC-MAN®, Galaga® and Dig-Dug® too! So don't forget to RSVP and join Pac-Man and company for the birthday bash to end them all.
