What does this error code mean?

This is a general problem. Your Nintendo 3DS family system or the application you are using may be the cause of it.

What can I do?

Unfortunately, there’s not much you can do to solve the issue. Please take a note of the following information and Contact Us:

• Serial number of your Nintendo 3DS family system: depending on the system that you own, this may be on the back of the system, underneath the battery, on a sticker near the battery, or underneath one of the cover plates.
• Software you were using when the error occurred.
• What action triggered the problem, i.e. exactly what you did just before the error code appeared.
