This adapter enables you to experience the games developed for the portable Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance systems on a large TV screen.

The Game Boy Player is a platform that is around 2.5cm tall and fits precisely into the Nintendo GameCube. The player simply inserts his Game Boy or Game Boy Advance Game Pak into the adapter and away you go. The game can be controlled by any Nintendo GameCube controller, e.g. a wireless WaveBird. And using the separately available Game Boy Advance cable you can even use the Game Boy Advance or Game Boy Advance SP to directly control the game.

The Game Boy Player also has a connection socket for a Universal Game Link Cable or Game Boy Advance Game Link Cable which provides full multiplayer action with an appropriate number of suitable multiplayer modules and Game Boy models. In this case each player can follow the game on their own screen - via the TV screen or the screen on their Game Boy, Game Boy pocket, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance or Game Boy Advance SP.
