    How to Change a Nintendo Account Mii

    Description:

    Step-by-step instructions on updating the Mii that is displayed in your Nintendo Account.

    Information:

    • You can add up to 6 Mii characters to your Nintendo Account profile.
    • You can create new Mii characters through your Nintendo Account settings and can also display the Mii that is associated with a linked Nintendo Network ID.
    • Mii characters that were linked through Miitomo will still be available in your Nintendo Account. However, specific items from Miitomo (like clothing and accessories) will not be carried over.

    Complete These Steps:

    How do you want to change the Mii in your Nintendo Account profile?

    1. To add a new Mii to your profile, you can either create one through your Nintendo Account settings or link your Nintendo Account to a Nintendo Network ID.

    How do you want to add a Mii?

    1. Go to http://accounts.nintendo.com and sign in to your Nintendo Account.
    2. When using a mobile browser, select Your Info.
      1. Select Edit info.
      2. Select Set Mii next to the grey silhouette.
      3. Select the (+) sign ("Create New Mii") to create a new Mii.
      4. Follow the on-screen categories to adjust your Mii character's physical features as desired. When your Mii is ready, select Done.
      5. Select Save to save the Mii to your Nintendo Account.
      6. A list of your current Mii characters will appear. Select the Mii that you want to display, then select Choose this Mii.
      7. Select Yes. The Mii you selected will appear in your profile.
    3. When using a desktop browser, select Your Info.
      1. In the "Profile" section, select Change.
      2. Select Set Mii next to the grey silhouette.
      3. Select the (+) sign ("Create New Mii") to create a new Mii.
      4. Follow the on-screen categories to adjust your Mii character's physical features as desired. When your Mii is ready, select Done.
      5. Select Save to save the Mii to your Nintendo Account.
      6. A list of your current Mii characters will appear. Select the Mii that you want to display, then select Choose this Mii.
      7. Select Yes. The Mii you selected will appear in your profile.
    1. Link a Nintendo Network ID to your Nintendo Account.
    2. Once the accounts are linked, sign in to your Nintendo Account on your PC or smart device.
    3. When using a mobile browser, select Your Info.
      1. Select Edit info.
      2. Select Set Mii next to the grey silhouette.
      3. Select Copy a Mii associated with your Nintendo Network ID.
      4. The Mii associated with the NNID will appear. Select Save to add the Mii to your Nintendo Account.
        • Future changes made to the Mii on a Wii U console or Nintendo 3DS system will not be reflected in your Nintendo Account (or vice versa).
    4. When using a desktop browser, select Your info.
      1. In the "Profile" section, select Change.
      2. Select Set Mii next to the grey silhouette.
      3. Select Copy a Mii associated with your Nintendo Network ID.
      4. The Mii associated with the NNID will appear. Select Save to add the Mii to your Nintendo Account.
        • Future changes made to the Mii on a Wii U console or Nintendo 3DS system will not be reflected in your Nintendo Account (or vice versa).

      4. Select Yes. The Mii you selected will appear in your profile.

      4. Select Delete again to delete the Mii from your Nintendo Account.

      1. In the "Profile" section, select Change.
      2. Select Change Mii under the current Mii.
      3. A list of your current Mii characters will appear. Select the Mii that you want to to delete, then select Delete.
      4. Select Delete again to delete the Mii from your Nintendo Account.
