How to Manage Automatic Renewal Settings for In-Game Subscriptions

In this article, you'll learn how to cancel automatic renewal for an in-game subscription.

    Important Information

    • Automatic renewal settings can only be managed through Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch if the in-game subscription was initially purchased through Nintendo eShop. If you purchased a subscription through a different service, your automatic renewal settings can only be adjusted through that service.
    • Nintendo Account owners under the age of 18 cannot save credit card or PayPal info for automatic renewal payments.

    What to do

    Nintendo Switch Console:

    1. From the HOME Menu on your Nintendo Switch console, open Nintendo eShop.
    2. Select the Nintendo Account that was used to purchase the subscription.
    3. Select your user icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
    4. Select Pass Settings to view a list of in-game passes you are subscribed to.
    5. Select Terminate Automatic Renewal next to the in-game subscription to cancel automatic renewal.
      • If Terminate Automatic Renewal is not available, then automatic renewal has not been set up or has already been cancelled for this service.

    Website:

    1. Visit https://accounts.nintendo.com.
    2. Sign in to the desired Nintendo Account.
    3. Select Online Services.
    4. Open the Passes section to see a list of in-game passes you are subscribed to.
