Notes
- A Nintendo Switch Online membership is required to play online in Mario Golf: Super Rush.
- For local wireless and online play, a copy of Mario Golf: Super Rush is required on each Nintendo Switch console.
- During local wireless and online play, up to two players can play on each console.
In Mario Golf: Super Rush, up to four players can hit the green in various game modes, including Speed Golf, Battle Golf and Standard Golf!

How do you want to play with other players?
Local (all players on one console) Local wireless (multiple nearby consoles) Online
- Open the game and select Play Golf.
- Select the golf mode you would like to play (Standard Golf, Speed Golf or Battle Golf).
- Select a play style to use (button controls or motion controls).
- Select the number of controllers that will be used.
- When taking turns hitting the ball in Standard Golf, up to four players can share one controller.
- For simultaneous play (players all hit their ball at the same time), up to two players can play at the same time.
- Press the L + R Buttons on the controllers that will be used, then press the A Button when ready.
- Set the number of players and the rules you wish to play, depending on the mode.
- Select a character for each player.
- Select the course to play on.
- Set additional rule details as needed, then begin the game with OK.
- On each console, open the game and select Play Golf.
- Select Network Play.
- Select Local Play.
- Select a play style to use (button controls or motion controls).
- Select the number of players that will be playing on each console. Up to two players can share a console during local wireless play.
- Determine which console will create the room for the other console(s) to join. This is the "host console".
- From the host console, select Create a Room.
- Select the room settings, golf mode, number of players and rule details, as needed.
- Enter a name for the room that the other console(s) will look for.
- From the other console(s), select Find a Room.
- Select the room that the host console has created. If the host required a password to enter, enter the password they chose.
- Once all players have entered the room, select Next on the host console and Start on each other console.
- Select a character for each player.
- On the host console, select the course to play on, then begin the game with OK.
- On each console, open the game and select Play Golf.
- Select Network Play.
- Select Online Play.
- Select a play style to use (button controls or motion controls).
- Select the number of players that will be playing on each console. Up to two players can share a console during online play.
- Determine if you would like to create a room and set the rules for those that join or find a room that is already set up.
What would you like to do?
- Select Create a Room.
- Select the room settings and golf mode rules, then select OK.
- Enter a name for the room that will be visible to other players to join.
- If you would like to invite registered friends to this room, select Invite and choose up to three friends. Otherwise, select No.
- If you decide to invite friends later, you can select Invite while waiting for players in the lobby.
- A room ID is generated in the top-right corner of the lobby. This can be shared with others so they can join the room using the room ID.
- When the players you want to proceed with have joined, select Next.
- Select a character for each player.
- Select the course to play on and additional rule details, as needed, then begin the game with OK.
- Select Find a Room.
- Select how you want to find a room.
- Friend Room: Search for rooms that your registered friends have created.
- Search: Select the golf mode and rules you want to play and search for players across the world who have created a room with those settings.
- Enter Room ID: Enter a unique room ID to join a specific room.
- After searching, select the room you want to join.
- If the room was set up with a password, you will be prompted to enter the password before you can join.
- Select Start when the host of the room is ready to start the game.
- Select your character. The host of the room will then select the course and any additional rule details.
