Note: During the Splatoon 3: Splatfest World Premiere demo, an error preventing the player from setting a nickname can occasionally occur when the software starts. It may seem as though the menu is looping, or that you are unable to start the demo.

Possible solutions

• Restart the software and try again.
• If the issue continues to occur and you are unable to change your nickname, you can change the nickname for your Nintendo Switch user instead. The software will default to the user nickname when you start it again, and you can proceed with that nickname.
