Marth
Profile
Birthplace: Altea
Title: Prince
Prince of the kingdom of Altea, and successor to the hero Anri, who once slew the Shadow Dragon, Medeus.
Marth loses both his parents in a series of attacks against Altea by the empire of Dolhr. He and a few of his retainers narrowly escape, to the remote island kingdom of Talys, thanks to the aid of his older sister, Elice. Two years later, he raises an army and leads a rebellion against Dolhr's rule. During his journey he encounters Nyna, a princess of the kingdom of Archanea, who has been exiled to the kingdom of Aurelis. She entrusts him with the Fire Emblem, a crest that is only bestowed upon a true champion. He goes on to fight the War of Shadows as the leader of the Archanean League.
Marth is perhaps most well-known for his kindness and empathy, which win him many allies—including some who were once his enemies.
Also known as the Prince of Light, the Star and Savior, and the Rallying Hero, among others.
Marth is the only one in the world worthy of wielding Falchion, a blade capable of felling a dragon. With it, he challenges Medeus, the emperor of Dolhr. Despite his status as an exile, Marth's charisma allows him to amass a broad and diverse coalition of allies over the course of many battles. This feat earns him the moniker of the Rallying Hero, setting him apart from the far more solitary Anri.
He is particularly close with Princess Caeda of Talys, as the two have looked out for each other since they were children.
