ECHOES

From furniture to food, water to clouds... By facing them and waving the Tri Rod, various things in Hyrule can be learned. Once an item is learned, an echo of it can be created anywhere, at any time.

Learn and then create. We call that an echo.

Tables, signboards, beds, meat… So many different items can be echoed.

Even monsters can be echoed?!

Creating an echo will grant Princess Zelda a powerful ally to aid her on her adventures.

Adventure using echoes

During her travels, Princess Zelda encounters walls that are too tall to climb, boiling hot rivers of lava, and other obstacles that she cannot pass on her own. When that happens, she can recall the echoes of things she has already learnt and consider what she can use to help her along the path.

Battle using echoes

BIND

From furniture to food, boulders to treasure chests or even monsters, bind is an ability that allows Princess Zelda to connect (bind) with various objects. There are two ways to use bind.

Bind to move items

By using bind, an object can be moved along with Princess Zelda. With bind, Princess Zelda can even move a gigantic boulder larger than herself.

When Princess Zelda moves, the enormous boulder also moves

Point with the Tri Rod to move with Princess Zelda

  • Use bind on enemy monsters to stop their movement and attack

  • Use bind on enemy monsters and drop them into lava

  • Bind with a buried treasure chest in order to pull it out

Match the movement of bound items

You can also bind with an automatically moving floor to match Princess Zelda’s movement to that of the floor. If the floor moves to the right, Princess Zelda will also move to the right.

When the floor moves, Princess Zelda also moves

  • Bind with quick monsters to move at high speed

  • Bind with flying monsters to fly

  • Bind with wall-climbing monsters to climb high cliffs
