Will Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo work with any size bed? What if the user shares the bed with another person or a pet? Can it track more than one sleeper?
- Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo is designed for use with beds up to 200cm wide.
- Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo has a motion sensor that detects movement. If there’s something else within range of the motion sensor that moves (such as a pet or an electric fan), Alarmo may confuse its movements with the user’s, leading the alarm to continue sounding even after the user has gotten out of bed. In these cases, the dial can be pressed to manually stop the alarm.
- Alarmo can’t detect a specific person, so if multiple people are sleeping in the same bed within range of the sensor, the alarm may stop when one person gets out of bed, but restart once it detects there is still someone in bed. The alarm will stop completely once everyone is out of bed.
- In the above situations, users can switch to Button Mode, which does not use the motion sensor and instead lets users operate Alarmo with button controls, just like a regular alarm clock.
