Built into every Wii console are Wii Channels. Wii Channels are the main gateway for a variety of easy-to-use, interactive multimedia, entertainment and communication functions.

How to access the Wii Channels:

The Wii Channels are the first screen to appear when the Wii console is powered on. Use the Wii Remote to move the cursor over the desired Channel and press the A Button. As more Channels are added, you can page through the menu screens using the pointer or the "+" and "-" buttons.
