This is the story of the creation of the Master Sword in the distant past.
People lived on a floating island in the sky
and rode large birds called Loftwings to fly around to different areas.
A young man named Link, attending the Knight Academy,
has completed the Wing Ceremony and was enjoying flying in the sky
with his childhood friend Zelda on their Loftwings.
However, a sudden tornado sends Zelda plummeting to the earth...
Link, on the other hand, is led to the island's Statue of the Goddess by Fi, the spirit of the sword.
He takes the sword he finds there and descends to the earth to save Zelda.
A long time ago, evil enemies suddenly appeared, and just when the world
was about to be steeped into darkness, a tiny Picori descended from the skies
and bestowed on a courageous hero the Light Force and a sword.
The hero used this power to seal the evil. The people were so grateful to the Picori
they held the Picori Festival, which became an annual celebration.
One year, on the day of the Picori Festival, young Link is invited by his childhood friend,
Princess Zelda, to attend the award ceremony for the sword-fighting tournament,
an annual event of the festival.
The ceremony is held in front of the Picori Blade, which is said to be sealing evil inside the chest.
However, the victor, Vaati, suddenly breaks the Picori Blade and unseals the evil.
He then turns Princess Zelda into stone with a curse and leaves the scene.
In order to lift the curse on Princess Zelda, the broken sword must be restored by the Picori.
Link meets the mysterious cap Ezlo, and with his guidance, heads to the Minish Village.
Once upon a time, there was a wind sorcerer named Vaati who kidnapped girls one after another.
It was then that a brave hero appeared wielding the legendary Four Sword, which could divide his body into four.
Those four heroes worked together and defeated Vaati.
Vaati was sealed into the Four Sword and placed on a pedestal in a remote area of Hyrule.
Time has passed since, and when Princess Zelda visited the forest to check on the seal of the Four Sword, Vaati resurrected, and Princess Zelda gets taken away.
Link, witnessing Vaati's resurrection, follows a fairy's guidance and takes the Four Sword in his hands.
As legend has it, Link's body splits into four, and the four of them set out on a journey to rescue Princess Zelda.

A young boy named Link was living in the forest as a member of the Kokiri tribe.
He was the only one in the forest who did not have a fairy of his own, but finally, a fairy appears in front of him.
Guided by the fairy Navi, Link breaks the curse on the Deku Tree,
the forest's guardian spirit, and then is told that he is a Hylian destined to save the world.
Ganondorf, who is planning to dominate the world, is attempting to steal the Triforce,
the power of the goddesses kept in the Sacred Realm.
Following the directions of the Deku Tree, Link heads to Hyrule Castle,
where he meets Princess Zelda. To stop Ganondorf's ambition,
Princess Zelda asks Link to get to the Triforce kept in the Sacred Realm before him.
The Triforce—a hidden treasure that lies in the Hyrule region
and grants the wishes of those who touch it.
An entrance to the Sacred Realm where the Triforce is hidden is found in the kingdom of Hyrule,
and many fought to enter. However, those who entered never returned.
Evil power began to pour forth from the entrance,
so the king of Hyrule ordered the Seven Sages to seal the entrance to the Sacred Realm.
One stormy night, when this story, later known as The Imprisoning War,
became a legend from long ago... "Please help me. My name is Zelda..."
Link wakes up with the voice of Princess Zelda calling for help from the dungeons of Hyrule Castle.
After completing his training in foreign countries,
Link encounters a huge storm on his voyage back to his nostalgic home of Hyrule.
He finds himself stranded on a place called Koholint Island,
where he is saved by a song-loving girl called Marin.
Koholint Island is a mysterious place with a mountain in the center
that is crowned with a large egg.
It is said that a spirit named the Wind Fish is sleeping there.
When Link heads to the beach where he was washed up to look for his lost sword,
he encounters a mysterious owl who tells him to awaken the Wind Fish, and all will be answered.
Link follows the owl's guidance and tries to escape from this mysterious island...
A young boy named Link is riding his horse through the land of Hyrule.
As if guided by something, he arrives at the depths of Hyrule Castle.
What awaits him there is the beautiful, shining Triforce.
"Accept our quest, chosen hero."
Surrounded by a divine light, Link finds himself transported to an unfamiliar land.
It is a land of trials called Holodrum and Labrynna.
In Holodrum, Din, the Oracle of Seasons who controls the four seasons,
was taken by the General of Darkness, Onox.
This has caused the seasons to be disrupted and the blessings of the earth to be stolen.
In Labrynna, the Oracle of Ages, Nayru, was possessed
by the Sorceress of Shadows, Veran.
To save the two oracles and restore the world,
Link sets out on a journey of trials.
Hyrule—a land where the legend of the fierce battle between Ganon,
the Demon King who plunged the world into fear and chaos, and the hero,
who received the power of the Seven Sages, has been passed down through generations.
A sorcerer named Yuga, attempting to resurrect Ganon, suddenly appears in this land.
One by one, he seals the descendants of the Seven Sages into paintings.
Link, a blacksmith's apprentice
who is tasked to investigate the incident from Princess Zelda,
is also turned into a painting by Yuga.
However, thanks to the power of the bracelet from the mysterious merchant Ravio,
Link gains the ability to merge into walls freely, and he succeeds in escaping.
To save the descendants of the Seven Sages,
Link chases after Yuga and finds himself in Lorule, a dimension opposite to Hyrule.
The fashion-loving princess of Hytopia, Styla, has been cursed by the witch Lady Maud
to wear an irremovable outfit of ultimate ugliness.
The people in Hytopia were filled with sorrow. In order to lift the curse, her father, King Tuft,
began to recruit legendary heroes who are rumored to be able to defeat the witch.
At such time, three young men who came to Hytopia
happened to fit the criteria of a hero perfectly.
By this strange coincidence, they are chosen to become heroes
and take on the challenge of entering the Drablands, where witches await.
The hero Link sets out to rescue Princess Zelda,
who was captured by Ganon.
Following a fierce battle, Link defeats Ganon,
only to be swallowed up by an eerie rift.
It was as if he'd been stolen away...
All across Hyrule, more mysterious rifts are forming
and taking the people of Hyrule away.
Nobody is safe—not even the king himself and his advisers,
who have also gone missing.
Princess Zelda must set out on an adventure to save
her father—the king of Hyrule—the people, and Link.
In an age of chaos,
a small kingdom in the land of Hyrule is invaded by forces of the Demon King Ganon,
and the royal treasure, the Triforce of Power, is stolen.
The princess of the royal family, Zelda,
splits the Triforce of Wisdom—another royal treasure—
into eight fragments and hides them throughout the small kingdom
before Ganon can take them away. However, she gets captured by Ganon.
A young boy named Link, who was on a journey,
saves Impa, who was under attack by enemies.
She is Princess Zelda's nursemaid and was tasked by Princess Zelda
to find someone who could defeat Ganon.
After hearing her story, Link decides to rescue Princess Zelda and defeat Ganon.
However, in order to defeat Ganon, he had to obtain the Triforce of Wisdom.
Six years have passed since the defeat of the Demon King Ganon.
After regaining the Triforce of Wisdom and Power,
Link, now at the age of sixteen, notices a mark that looks like the Triforce emblem
appear on the back of his left hand.
When Impa sees this, she is surprised and takes Link to the altar in the North Castle.
At the altar was a beautiful woman sleeping.
She is Princess Zelda from a distant time, who had been cursed to sleep forever
due to a tragedy that occurred over the Triforce.
Legend has it that the Triforce is not only of Wisdom and Power, but also has a third virtue: Courage.
It is said that a crest will appear on the back of the left hand of a noble character qualified to hold the power.
Impa gives Link a scroll that shows the location of the Triforce of Courage
and asks him to complete the Triforce and wake Princess Zelda from her slumber.
Link goes into the deep forest
to look for a friend with whom he had parted ways.
However, in the forest, an imp called Skull Kid
steals the Ocarina of Time and turns Link into a Deku Scrub.
Link chases after Skull Kid and finds himself in the world of Termina.
There, he meets the Happy Mask Salesman,
who tells him that if Link wishes to return to his original form,
he must retrieve Majora's Mask, which Skull Kid stole from him.
Link hunts down Skull Kid and retrieves the Ocarina of Time
but also discovers that Skull Kid's true intention is
to make the moon fall and destroy the world itself...
With the recommendation from the village's only swordsman, Rusl,
a young ranch worker named Link is charged with delivering a gift
to Hyrule Castle, to broaden his horizons.
However, on the day of his departure, his childhood friend Illia and
a group of village children were kidnapped by dark figures right in front of his eyes.
Link chases down the enemy into the forest, but the forest,
which was peaceful until yesterday, was shrouded in eerie shadows.
Link is dragged into the Twilight Realm, where he transformed into a beast and lost consciousness.
Waking up in an unknown dungeon, Link sets out on a journey
to investigate the strange phenomena occurring in the world with the help of
a mysterious figure who knows the Twilight Realm and introduces herself as Midna.
In an age where the story of the Four Sword has faded into legend...
Hyrule is suddenly enveloped in black clouds.
Princess Zelda, suspecting that it is the act of Vaati,
heads with six maidens and Link to the Sanctuary
where the Four Sword is sealed, to see what is going on.
Just as they were about to open the door to the Sanctuary,
a shadow similar to Link appears and
grabs Princess Zelda and the maidens and disappears.
In order to save Princess Zelda and the others, Link decides to pull out the Four Sword.
However, this also meant it will break the seal imprisoning Vaati...
On a small island in the middle of the ocean,
where the legend of the Hero of Time is being passed down,
it is customary to celebrate when young boys reach the age of twelve,
the same age as the hero, by dressing them in green.
On the day that a young boy named Link, living on the island, celebrated his birthday,
he happened to witness the pirate captain Tetra being taken away by a monstrous bird.
Link rescues Tetra, but now his sister, Aryll, is kidnapped instead.
In order to save Aryll, Link boards Tetra's pirate ship and heads for the Forsaken Fortress,
only to be thrown out into the sea by the monstrous bird.
Link is saved by a talking boat that calls itself the King of Red Lions.
The King of Red Lions tells Link that the resurrected Ganondorf, the King of Evil,
is kidnapping girls from all over the world.
A few months after the adventures in the Wind Waker...
Link sets off with the pirates led by Tetra in search of a new land.
He arrives at a sea not far from Hyrule
where the great spirit the Ocean King is said to be ruling.
As they navigate through a deep fog, they come upon a Ghost Ship.
Tetra goes onboard the ship to explore, but the Ghost Ship disappears with her.
Link immediately tries to jump onto the Ghost Ship but falls into the sea
and finds himself washed up on the shores of Mercay Island.
After being rescued by a fairy named Ciela,
Link sets out on a journey to find the Ghost Ship with Captain Linebeck,
who is sailing in search of treasure.
Link, an apprentice engineer, goes to Hyrule Castle
to attend a ceremony to be certified as an official royal engineer.
After the appointment ceremony, Princess Zelda calls Link out
and asks him to take her to the Tower of Spirits to investigate
the cause of the strange disappearance of train tracks in many places.
However, on the way to the Tower of Spirits, Princess Zelda is attacked by Cole,
a demon disguised as a chancellor, and her soul is taken out, and her body is stolen.
The tracks that stretch across the land are spiritual barriers to seal the Demon King,
and Princess Zelda's body is considered to be a vessel for the Demon King's resurrection...
Princess Zelda, left with only her soul,
and Link are entrusted the Spirit Train from a sage, Anjean.
And with Zelda's Spirit Flute,
they borrow the power of sages from respective realms to restore the spiritual barrier.
"Open your eyes…"
The protagonist, Link, wakes up at the Shrine of Resurrection
to a mysterious woman's voice.
He has lost his memory of the past but
takes the Sheikah Slate in his hands as the voice leads him.
When he leaves the shrine,
he meets an old man and learns that
the resurrection of Calamity Ganon has destroyed the former Hyrule Kingdom and that
Princess Zelda has been suppressing Calamity Ganon's power for one hundred years.
Link decides to go to Hyrule Castle to defeat Calamity Ganon and save Princess Zelda.
Gaining the wisdom to live and the skill to fight, he sets out into the vast land of Hyrule.
A while after the defeat of the Calamity,
the hero Link and Princess Zelda go to investigate beneath Hyrule Castle.
Upon encountering a mysterious mummy found underground,
the castle floats into the air,
mysterious relics descend from the sky, and Zelda disappears.
An Upheaval suddenly struck the world of Hyrule.
Link once again throws himself into an endless adventure
in search of clues to save Hyrule from the Upheaval and find missing Zelda.
