List of LED patterns and colours
| Flashing White | Waiting to pair with another device |
| Slow Blinking | Playing with a Pokémon |
| Rapid Flashing Red | Attempted to play with a Pokémon but there wasn't one present |
| Glittering Rainbow | Played with a Pokémon that is very happy |
| Flashing Green/Yellow/Red | Remaining battery charge indicator |
| Solid Blue | Delete pairing with Nintendo Switch in Support Mode |
| Solid White | Delete all user data in Support Mode |
