Super Mario Bros. themed items available now in Animal Crossing: New Horizons!

To commemorate the Super Mario Bros. 35th anniversary, Super Mario Bros. themed furniture and fashion items are now available for order at Nook Shopping in Animal Crossing: New Horizons for Nintendo Switch.

After downloading the latest free update*, Super Mario Bros. themed items will become available for order at Nook Shopping for both Northern and Southern hemisphere players. From clothing and rugs to some very recognisable items from the Super Mario series, there's a wide range of goodies on offer for you to use on your island!

Create a functioning Warp Pipe on your island!

Out of all the items, we’d like to highlight the Warp Pipe. You can place Warp Pipes freely on your island, then enter one to warp to the another!

To warp, place at least two Warp Pipes on your island to travel between locations. If you place more than two Warp Pipes, the warp location will be chosen at random, and the Warp Pipe needs enough landing space around it to be able to work properly. You can even warp to Warp Pipes placed inside your in-game house! Why not decorate your island like the Mushroom Kingdom?

Players who download the latest free update* will receive the Mushroom Mural in their in-game mailbox as a thank-you gift.

New seasonal items available!

By downloading the latest free update*, you’ll also be able to order in-game items inspired by various seasonal events and customs.

Hinamatsuri

For the Hinamatsuri festival on March 3rd, hinaningyo (doll) and blossom lantern will be available for order until March 3rd. There will be one item from the series available each day, and the selection changes daily.

Pi Day

Did you know that in many countries March 14th is celebrated as Pi Day? Pi, of course, refers to the mathematical constant “Pi,” and Pi Day is celebrated on March 14th because Pi begins with .314. Until March 14th, players will be able to order the in-game ∏ day item.

Shamrock Day

March 17th is Shamrock Day! In honour of these little green three-leaved plants, the Shamrock Soda, Shamrock Doorplate and Shamrock Rug will be available for order between March 10th and March 17th. There will be one item from the series available each day, and the selection changes daily. Shamrock Day themed fashion items will also be available at the Able Sisters for the same period.
