New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL systems work with microSD cards up to 2 GB in memory, and microSDHC cards from 4 GB to 32 GB.

You can use the microSD card included with your New Nintendo 3DS or New Nintendo 3DS XL, but we have also conducted functionality tests on the following microSD cards:

The above microSD cards have been subjected to functionality tests. However, please note that we do not guarantee the performance of these products. Please consult the instruction manual of the microSD card for information.

Specifications of these microSD cards are subject to change. There is a possibility that these devices may not function properly with the New Nintendo 3DS or New Nintendo 3DS XL systems due to such a specification change.
