How to Calibrate the Ring-Con and Leg Strap Accessories (Ring Fit Adventure)
In this article, you'll learn how to calibrate the Ring-Con and leg strap accessories for use with Ring Fit Adventure on Nintendo Switch.
Additional Information:
- You will be prompted to calibrate the Ring-Con and leg strap accessories the first time you begin Ring Fit Adventure.
- After the initial calibration, you can recalibrate the accessories at any time through “My Menu” in the game.
- Please review How to Attach the Joy-Con to the Ring-Con and Leg Strap Accessories if you need help connecting the accessories.
Complete these steps
- At any point while playing a game mode in Ring Fit Adventure, press the B Button on the Joy-Con (R) to access “My Menu”. (This should be the Joy-Con that is attached to the Ring-Con.)
- Use the control stick on the Joy-Con (R) to highlight "Settings", then press the X Button to confirm.
Do you want to calibrate the Ring-Con or the leg strap?
- Select "Ring-Con Calibration".
- Select "Next".
- Calibrate your pressing power:
- Hold the Ring-Con in both hands while facing forward.
- Hold the left and right grips on the Ring-Con.
- Point the Ring-Con in front of you.
- Press the grips inward as hard as you can, then hold there until "OK!" appears on the screen.
- Select "Next".
- Calibrate your pulling power:
- Hold the Ring-Con in both hands while facing forward.
- Hold the left and right grips on the Ring-Con.
- Point the Ring-Con in front of you.
- Pull the grips outward as hard as you can, then hold there until "OK!" appears on the screen.
- Your Strength Setting will be updated automatically. Press the X Button when prompted to close the calibration process.
- Select "Leg Strap Settings".
- Select "Next".
- Measure your light jog:
- Make sure the leg strap is wrapped securely around your left thigh.
- Spread your feet slightly and stand up straight.
- Hold the Ring-Con in both hands while facing forward.
- Hold the left and right grips on the Ring-Con.
- Point the Ring-Con in front of you.
- Jog lightly in place until “OK!” appears on the screen.
- Select "Next" twice.
- Measure your fast jog:
- Make sure the leg strap is wrapped securely around your left thigh.
- Spread your feet slightly and stand up straight.
- Hold the Ring-Con in both hands while facing forward.
- Hold the left and right grips on the Ring-Con.
- Point the Ring-Con in front of you.
- Jog quickly in place until “OK!” appears on the screen.
- Your leg strap will be automatically calibrated to match your running style. Press the X Button when prompted to close the calibration screen.
