For the first-time pairing sequence, do the following:
- Start the game on your Nintendo Switch console and progress to the screen where you're instructed to power on the kart.
- Briefly press the Ignition Button on the kart.
- A QR Code will be displayed on the console screen.
- Once the red brake light and blue power light begin flashing on the kart, aim the kart camera towards the console screen (or the TV screen if you’re playing in TV mode) to capture the QR Code.
Important: If a message prompting you to charge the kart appears, be sure to first charge the kart and then perform the pairing sequence.
If the kart has already been paired to your Nintendo Switch console, simply start the game on your console, then briefly press the Ignition Button on the kart.
- The red brake light and blue power light on the kart will flash momentarily.
If you are pairing the kart to a different console, do the following:
- Start the game on your Nintendo Switch console, then briefly press the Ignition Button on the kart.
- Once the red brake light turns off and while the blue power light is still blinking, press the Ignition Button once again.
- Aim the kart camera towards the console screen (or the TV screen if you’re playing in TV mode) to capture the QR Code.
