How to Power Off the Nintendo Switch Console
Instructions for powering off the console in the Nintendo Switch family.

Once you are done playing on Nintendo Switch console, you can choose to set the console to sleep mode. This reduces power consumption and allows you to resume your game where you left off.
Complete These Steps:
- To power off the console, press and hold the POWER button for at least three seconds.
- Select "Power Options" > "Power Off."
Important:
If for some reason you are unable to power off the console, press and hold down the POWER Button for at least twelve seconds.
