How to Report Inappropriate or Offensive Content (New Pokémon Snap)
In this article, you'll learn how to report an inappropriate photo, caption, photographer name or a comment that a player has added to New Pokémon Snap.
In New Pokémon Snap, players with a Nintendo Switch Online membership can share photos they have taken in the game with others online and review photos that other players have shared. Your photographer name, comment, photo and photo caption are all viewable by others when you share them online.
Content that you find inappropriate can be reported in the game. You can also block players to stop seeing photos and captions from them.
Complete these steps
What do you want to report?
A photo or its caption A photographer's name or comment
- From the online gallery, select the photo.
- Select Report.
- When prompted, select Yes.
- From the drop-down menu, select the reason you are reporting the photo or caption.
- In the provided area, describe in detail the content that is being reported.
- Select Report. When the report is entered, you will see the following message: "Your report has been entered. It will be sent automatically. You can use the block function to stop showing this photographer's name, comments, and photos."

- From the online gallery, select a photo by the photographer.
- Select Profile to view the photographer's profile.
- In the upper-right, select Report.
- In the provided area, describe in detail the content that is being reported.
- Select Report. When the report is entered, you will see the following message: "Your report has been entered. It will be sent automatically. You can use the block function to stop showing this photographer's name, comments, and photos."
