The ideal way to place the device and direction of getting out of bed

When the alarm is not working properly, it may be possible to improve it by getting as close as possible to the below "ideal way to place the device" and "ideal direction of getting out of bed."

Face Alarmo's screen toward the center of the bed, and put it in a place where the distance from a wall is as far as possible.

Exit the bed as closely as possible to the direction of the facing of Alarmo's screen.

By this, the alarm will stop as soon as you leave the sensor zone.

Alarm is not working properly

Q Even though I am in bed, the fanfare plays and my alarm stops.
A

There is a chance to improve this by turning Alarmo's screen toward the center of the bed, so please first try adjusting Alarmo's facing.
Another reason is when there is a moving object near the sensor zone, sometimes the alarm turns off even when in bed.

Try the following and then please check the sensor zonecheck the sensor zone.

  • Change the device's location and reconfigure the "Sensor Zone"

    (For example, if it is placed above your head, try changing it diagonally up or sideways)

    If the distance between Alarmo's screen and a wall is close, it may not respond properly. Please place the Alarmo screen in a location and facing where it can be separated from a wall.

  • Set the motion sensor's sensitivity to "Low"

    You can lower the sensitivity with Menu → "Settings" → "Sensor Sensitivity".

    Lowering the sensitivity will make it less responsive to body movements, so please be cautious.

  • Move moving objects outside the sensor zone or turn off the moving device's power to stop it

Q After I got out of bed, the alarm starts ringing on its own.
A

Even if you move away from the bed and the alarm stops, when you return to the sensor zone and remain still, the alarm will start again for one hour from the Alarm Time (prevents sleeping again).

When the dial LED is glowing white, the alarm will start again when you return to the sensor zone.

The sensor zone includes not only the bed, but the surrounding area as well.

You can completely stop it by pressing any button on the device (such as the Confirm Button).

If the alarm sounds even when you are not in the sensor zone, it is possible there is a moving object in the sensor zone.
Try the following and then please check the sensor zonecheck the sensor zone.

  • Change the device's location and reconfigure the "Sensor Zone"

Q The alarm does not sound even when it becomes the set time.

Please verify whether the Alarm Time is displayed at the bottom of the screen. If it is not displayed, the alarm is OFF. Please turn it "ON" with Menu → "Alarm ON/OFF". Even if the alarm is "ON", it will not sound in the following cases, so please be cautious.

The alarm does not sound even when it becomes the set time.
  • When Alarmo's facing unintentionally changes while you are sleeping and is not facing the center of the bed or differs from the sensor zone settings
  • When you are not in bed (sensor zone) at the Alarm Time

In addition, the alarm may not sound if there are moving objects near the sensor zone. Please either move moving objects outside the sensor zone or turn off the moving device's power to stop it.

Q Even though it is connected to an AC adapter, the power goes off while the alarm is ringing.

It is possible the AC adapter is not supplying enough power output. Please make sure you are using a device that can supply 5 V / 1.5 A / 7.5 W or more of power. After restarting, if the screen called "The power was lost while your alarm was active" is displayed, please press the Confirm Button.

The same screen will also be displayed in a power outage.

Q The alarm does not stop even when I leave the sensor zone.

When you want to stop the alarm immediately, you can press the Confirm Button to stop it.

There is a chance to improve this by turning Alarmo's screen toward the center of the bed, so please first try adjusting Alarmo's facing.
If it does not improve, after trying the following methods, please do a sensor zone checksensor zone check to check that there are no moving objects near Alarmo or the sensor zone.

Near Alarmo, it may react to moving objects not only to the front, but the back and side, above and below. It may also react to movement on the other side of curtains and walls. It may also react to movement inside devices that appear not to be moving at first glance (motors, etc.) or small movements (clock hands, etc.).

You cannot change the time for each day of the week.

But you can set the alarm to ON/OFF for each day of the week from Menu's "Alarm ON/OFF".

I don't understand something about Alarmo's settings

You can change it from Menu → "Settings" → "Language/Region".

"Language/Region" is in the place three screens from the screen displayed when you select "Settings".
