Nohr or Hoshido – who should you side with in Fire Emblem Fates?

Hoping to get into Fire Emblem Fates on Nintendo 3DS family systems this festive season but having trouble deciding which kingdom you should side with? We feel you, it’s not an easy decision at all!

In order to make the choice a little easier, we’ve put five members of each kingdom’s royal family against each other below. For each one, choose who you’d prefer to have by your side in battle and by the end you should have a better idea of who you should ally with!

So there you have it, you should now easily be able to pick a side, and the decision won’t be gruelling or heartbreaking in any way. If Nohr is your choice then Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest is the way forward. Going with Hoshido? Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright is the one for you!

Don’t worry if you want to see all sides of the story. You can purchase the other side as downloadable content*. There’s a third story path too, Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation, but we’d recommend you play the other two first, as it’s full of nasty spoilers.
