To commemorate The Legend of Zelda's 30th anniversary, four new amiibo in The Legend of Zelda Collection are out now: an 8-bit style Link, Link (Ocarina of Time), Toon Link (The Wind Waker) and Zelda (The Wind Waker)!
Exciting news: the very same amiibo are also compatible with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, coming to Wii U and Nintendo's next home gaming system Nintendo Switch in 2017. Each of these amiibo will offer random items you can use in the game. Legend has it, you may even receive a treasure chest with a rare item if you’re lucky?!
Link (The Legend of Zelda) will reward you with a random number of barrels. You might find Rupees inside too!
Link (Ocarina of Time) will reward you with a random amount of meat.
Toon Link (The Wind Waker) will reward you with a random amount of fish.
Zelda (The Wind Waker) will reward you with a random selection of plants.
