Fun, entertainment and surprises await with two new titles out today for Nintendo 3DS family systems, as well as new arrivals to The Legend of Zelda Collection of amiibo.
Grab your hard hat – Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS is out now on Nintendo 3DS family systems. Create your own Super Mario courses anytime, anywhere using crazy combinations of objects, enemies and platforms, then share them with your friends via local wireless or StreetPass. You can even collaborate on courses with a fellow Super Mario Maker!
Don’t feel like creating? Jump into Super Mario Challenge to take on 100 original courses designed by Nintendo, each with their own additional challenge objectives to beat! Want more? Check out the Course World* where you can play loads of courses created by Wii U players. Take your pick from Recommended Courses or test your platforming skills in 100 Mario Challenge.

Prepare to put your mind to the test in Picross 3D: Round 2, out now exclusively for Nintendo 3DS family systems. In this brain-teasing puzzle game, you’ll chisel away at blocks, and paint others blue and orange, to reveal all sorts of surprising hidden shapes in over 300 puzzles!
You can take on every enigma at three different difficulty levels, so whether you’re a newcomer or a Picross pro, you can play at your own speed. What’s more, if you have a compatible amiibo (sold separately), you can tap it in and unlock additional puzzles based on Nintendo characters like Mario, Kirby and more.

Today also marks the arrival of a special series of amiibo figures in The Legend of Zelda Collection. Four new amiibo based on classic characters including an 8-bit style Link, Link (Ocarina of Time), and Toon Link (The Wind Waker) and Zelda (The Wind Waker) are available in shops now.
These amiibo will work as existing Link, Toon Link and Zelda amiibo from the Super Smash Bros. Collection, and will also have special functionality in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild when it launches next year for Wii U and Nintendo’s next home gaming system Nintendo Switch.
