Win amiibo with Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games™

Summer is here; let the Games begin! To celebrate, we’d like to get some competition going with Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games™. Compete in our high score contests on either the Nintendo 3DS or Wii U version of the game and you could win a Mario and a Sonic amiibo, which will unlock additional content and power up your Mii in the game!

To take part in the contest you’ll need either a copy of Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games™ on Wii U or on Nintendo 3DS, or the free* demo available to download from Nintendo eShop. On Wii U, we’d like you to set the fastest 100m Freestyle Swimming time you can, while on Nintendo 3DS we’re looking for the longest Long Jump distance.

Simply post a photo or screenshot of your score to Twitter with the hashtag #MarioSonicRio2016 before 23:59 on 12 August 2016 and the best scoring player in each event will each take home the prize!

Terms and Conditions:

^{1. Entry is open to residents of the United Kingdom, excluding employees and the immediate families of the Promoter, its agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion. Entrants must be 13 years or over.}

^{2. If you are under 18 you are representing that you have consent from your parents/guardian to enter the promotion in accordance with our terms and conditions and privacy policy.}

^{3. By entering the promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.}

^{4. Entries close at 23:59 on 12 August 2016.}

To participate in the promotion, entrants will require access to the internet, will need to register for a Twitter account and require access to either the full version of Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games™ for Wii U or Nintendo 3DS or the free demo of these games available to download from Nintendo eShop.}

^{6. Entry is online via Twitter. To enter, entrants should upload from their console a screenshot or photo of the results screen from either the 100m Freestyle Swimming in the Wii U version of the game or the Long Jump in the Nintendo 3DS version of the game showing their scores, using the hashtag #MarioSonicRio2016. The Promoter cannot guarantee uninterrupted or secure access to the entry route. Entrants are free to enter the promotion as many times as they want.}

^{7. Two winners will be selected (one winner for each version of the game) according to who has the highest overall score in each sporting discipline. In the event of two entrants recording the same score, the winner will be the first person to enter with that highest score. The winners will be notified through Twitter within 14 days of the promotion closing. If a winner does not respond to contact made by the Promoter within 28 days the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to a substitute winner.}

^{8. Each winner will receive one Mario amiibo (Super Mario collection) and one Sonic the Hedgehog No. 26 amiibo. There is no cash or other prize alternatives. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize for an alternative of equal or greater value.}

^{9. All entries must be made directly by the person entering the competition. Entries made online using methods generated by a script, macro or the use of automated devices will be void. No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, delayed or corrupted, or due to computer error in transit. Entries should be clear and legible.}

The promoter reserves the right to verify all entries and the winner, including, but not limited to, age and eligibility to enter, and to refuse to award the prize, or withdraw prize entitlement, where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of this promotions entry requirements.}

^{11. Entrants’ personal data will be collected, stored and processed strictly for the purposes of administering and assessing this promotion.}
