With many of the features that appear in the GameCube version, your Sim characters have aspirations, wants and needs – it's up to you to fulfil them! Create your character by choosing their gender, hair colour, style of dress, and other attributes to make your Sim unique, then begin exploring the aptly named Strangetown. With the filming of a reality TV show forming the background to the game, missions are split into a "TV" format; with 24 episodes to complete, you'll get to see each and every inch of this unusual town. That could mean hobnobbing with aliens, or finding your guy shrunk to the size of a bug. Who said life as a Sim was predictable?
Make sure to complete each episode's objectives and the ratings will go through the roof - granting you access to ever quirkier adventures. In keeping with the game's reality TV theme, you'll also be able to take part in commercials – effectively mini-games, where if you play well you're rewarded with Simoleans, Sim money that lets you purchase various items to customise your Sims set-up. Using the Game Boy Advance Game Link Cable, you'll be able to connect to a friend's system and trade sought after items, or compete against each other in mini-games too.
