A strange beginning

Congratulations! Luigi won a mansion…in a contest he didn’t enter? Unfortunately, his grand prize is infested with spooky spirits and his brother Mario is trapped somewhere deep inside! With the help of a quirky inventor named Professor E. Gadd, and armed with a nifty new ghost-grabbing gizmo – the Poltergust 3000 – Luigi must tough it out and come to the rescue!

Time to clean house

Work your way through a trap-filled manor room-by-room, solving puzzles and acquiring keys to unlock new areas as you go. Afraid you’ll get lost in this dingy dwelling? Consult the map on the Touch Screen at any time to find your way.

When you stumble across a ghost, use your flashlight or newly added Strobulb to catch them by surprise, then reel them in with the Poltergust 3000 – just be prepared to put up a fight as they attempt to escape! Tougher intruders known as Portrait Ghosts have also taken up residency in certain rooms. Each one has a unique personality so study these peculiar poltergeists and their surrounding carefully to figure your best course of action.

Your experimental vacuum cleaner does more than drive out the unwanted – shake the furniture to find hidden treasures and inhale elemental medals to spray fire, water or ice at obstacles in your way and foes alike!
