March 10th is MAR10 Day – get it? – and to celebrate we’ve got some news! In a new video, Shigeru Miyamoto announced that Nintendo is working together with Illumination on a new animated film based on the world of Super Mario Bros. – plus, there are updates on some of the upcoming adventures you can enjoy with Mario and friends on Nintendo Switch!

Fold into adventure in the returning classic Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door on May 23rd, and creep carefully into spooky escapades in Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD on June 27th.

Three classics Mario titles and icon parts for Nintendo Switch Online members
Nintendo Switch Online members can also enjoy three additional Mario titles from Game Boy starting March 12th: Dr. Mario, Mario Tennis and Mario Golf! These titles join a line-up of over 140 retro classics available to Nintendo Switch Online members, including Super Mario Bros., Super Mario World, Super Mario Kart and many more!
Plus, members can create their own Nintendo Switch profile pictures with Super Mario user icon parts, available from the Nintendo Switch Online app on your console.

New LEGO Super Mario products are on the way!
Over the weekend, the LEGO Group celebrated MAR10 Day by unveiling three new LEGO Super Mario sets – The Bowser Express Train, King Boo’s Haunted Mansion and Battle with Roy at Peach’s Castle. And that’s not all: Mario Kart will be coming to LEGO Super Mario in 2025, too! Watch the above presentation from LEGO to find out more.
